Educator Retreat

On January 27th, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, we’ll gather to find a deep reset of our minds, bodies and spirits in community with other educators. Treat yourself to this afternoon and leave feeling refreshed and connected!

When: January 27th, 2024 from 1:00 - 5:00pm

Location: Vita (6034 College Ave, Oakland)

Teachers, School Leaders, School Psychologists, Regional Staff, Non-Profit Educators, Support Staff:

Gather with fellow educators to strengthen community and prioritize self care through stillness, movement and reflection. Through evidence-based mindfulness practices, accessible yoga, and time in community, we’ll create the conditions to exhale deeply, reset the nervous system, and cultivate the innate resilience within.

This retreat is open to any Bay Area educator or individuals working within a school, educational institution, educational non-profit, etc. No experience required. Those who have never practiced yoga and/or formal mindfulness practices are warmly encouraged to attend.

What’s included:

Welcome/Introduction, Yoga, Walking meditation, Sitting/lying down meditation, Personal time, Journaling, Small & big group reflection,

What to Expect & How to Prepare:

  • Once registered (below), you will receive more detailed information via email at least a week prior to the retreat.

  • Offered by Jess Boots. As a former classroom teacher and leader, I deeply believe in cultivating the mental, physical and emotional health of educators.
